Luara Bombom comes to Melbourne

Luara Bombom is one of Rio Carnaval's most celebrated Passistas, crowned Queen of the Passistas at Salgueiro and First Princess of Rio Carnival in 2022. She started dancing at four years old and has spent her career since building a reputation as one of samba's most technically gifted and expressive performers. Alongside her work as a Passista, Luara is a samba professor and a regular feature across the globe, where she teaches dancers from around the world. She's also a mother and a psychologist, and paraded at 37 weeks pregnant, proof of just how much samba runs through her. This is a rare chance to train with a genuine icon of Rio Carnaval on Melbourne soil. This class is open to Intermediate levels and above.
